The studio was founded by Oli Kilby in 2019 with a clear vision to build a world-class framing service which was accessible, affordable and sustainable. Oli has worked in the art world for over 15 years as a photo-realist painter and part of the Damien Hirst team and gained valuable experience across various industry-leading framing studios. Understanding the needs of both artists and galleries and all the nuances involved within the end-to-end journey means Squared Framing is able to offer a seamless production service, delivering high quality frames and unique art fabrication solutions.

Squared Framing are best known for our hand-finished frames and our obsession with detail.
Our 2,000sq foot framing workshop is based in Penge, South-East London and is run by a team highly skilled artisan framers. From designing, cutting and sanding to joining, staining and fitting — our specialist team produce everything by hand.
Sustainability matters: All are frames are made from the best quality materials. Hand-finished using low VOC finishes where-ever possible.
